Could you imagine spending all day in your house and your only reprieve is seeing the grass in your own backyard? Unfortunately this is a reality for many of America's dogs. Whether it be long work hours or just the hectic doings of everyday life, your dog's physical and mental needs are often neglected. As humans we take for granted the fact that we can open our front door and simply walk outside. What many people don't realize is that dogs are genetically programmed to cover ground and travel distances everyday for survival. Basically dogs were born to walk! A lot of behavioral issues your dog may be exhibiting are out of frustration and boredom. Imagine how stressful it is for your dog to not be allowed to do what he was born to do. At Lead the Pack we are firm believers in the "Power of the Walk". We realize the important role walking plays in training as well as the overall mental and physical health of your dog. That is why we offer a variety of services to help supplement what your dog is missing in his life. With use of our services we promise you will experience a calmer and happier four legged friend.

 

Daily dog walking is available for your convenience and for your dog's health. Whether you have a puppy or a senior citizen we tailor a walking program specifically to your dog's needs.

Doggie Fit Club
Doggie Fit Club is for overweight and under exercised dogs. Just like us, our dogs often struggle with their weight. Obesity leads to a variety of health problems like diabetes and heart conditions as well as hip and joint problems. The difference between human weight issues and a dog's is that they rely on us to fix the problem. With our Doggie Fit Club Program we will offer you advice on food, set up a feeding program and exercise your dog twice a week to help them achieve their ideal weight.
Rates: $50 for a tailored program twice a week.
(Time will vary based on dog's age, health problems and weight.)

Doggie Day Adventures
      
Do you want to give your dog a special day out? We offer Doggie Day Adventures where we will take your dog to a special place either a hike in the park or a walk on the beach! Your dog will spend a fun filled day exploring everything Long Island has to offer!
Rates:  $40 a trip

Overnight Pet Sitting
         
We know how hard it is to find reliable, trustworthy pet sitters these days. We also know you want your pet to feel secure and maintain a stable routine while you are away. That is why we offer several options for your convenience.
 

Pet Sitting Rates

Overnight in MY home: $30 per night
Multiple dogs in MY home: $20 for the second dog.

(All rates are subject to NYS sales tax)

Check out time: 8:00 am to 11:00 am

If your dog is not picked up before 11:00 am you will be charged $20 for Doggie Day Care.

Last pick up time is 8:00 pm

All dogs MUST have their Bordetella shot and Proof of up to date vaccinations

Lead the Pack conveniently offers transportation for those of you who are not capable of driving or just don't have the time. Give us a call and we can arrange drop offs and/or pickups. Prices vary on time and distance.
